Life Legacy
Marion J. Pison, 79, of Wallingford, died peacefully Monday, July 5, 2010, at Masonicare following a lengthy illness, her loving family by her side. She was born Aug. 31, 1930, in Meriden, the eldest child of James and Jeanette (Mita) Jenkins. Marion graduated from Meriden High School, Class of 1948, and attended Morse School of Business.
She married Joseph V. Pison on Aug. 11, 1951, and they made their home in Wallingford. Marion was a homemaker while her three children were young, returning to the work force to become office manager of Titan Industries in Wallingford. Marion was an avid reader and history buff, and loved going to lunch with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Joe; her daughters Gail Montany and husband Gene of Littleton, N.H., Debra Kaczynski and husband Robert of South Windsor, and Vicki Pinto of Wallingford; seven grandchildren; her sister Mildred Steinfeldt of Clinton; brother James Jenkins of Meriden; several cousins; many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, July 10, 2010, at 1:15 p.m. in the Chapel of Masonicare Health Center, 22 Masonic Ave., Wallingford. Interment will be private. www.wallingfordfh.com
