Life Legacy
Anna Cecelia Pyskaty Rosi, 96, of Wallingford, died, Friday, February 26, 2010 at Hamden Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Amelio L. Rosi.
She was born in Wallingford, February 27, 1913, a daughter of the late Peter and Frances Kamaneki Pyskaty; and was a graduate of Holy Trinity School and Lyman Hall High School Class of 1931. She had been employed at International Silver for many years until her retirement. She was a parishioner of SS. Peter and Paul Church and a member of the Polish National Alliance Group #513.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Frances and James Bennitt of North Haven; her son, Ronald Rosi of Wallingford; her four grandchildren, Carsa Caron, Alisa Rosi-Carney, James Bennitt and Joshua Bennitt; six great grandchildren, Braeden, Chayse, Alexis, Kaiden, Roegen and Jaici; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Statia Pyskaty; and her brothers, Vincent and Joseph Pyskaty.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, from 9 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to SS. Peter and Paul Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Wallingford. Gifts in her memory may be sent to SS. Peter and Paul Church, 139 N. Orchard St., Wallingford, CT 06492.
